What is therapy?


Talk therapy, also known as psychotherapy, is an eveidenced based method of providing help and assistance to individuals through dialogue. While the reasons for beging therapy are varied, disucssion with a professional has been shown to be an effective solution for most people.




What is a psychologist?


In the United States, a psychologist is a term for a professional who has received a doctoral degree in psychology and has developed an expertise in treating issues related to mental health. In order to become licensed as a psychologist, one needs to complete four years of undergraduate course, five years of graduate school, and additional hands-on training related to practice of therapy.




Does going to therapy mean there is something wrong with me?


Absolutely not. On the contrary, seeking psychological services is one of the most courageous endeavors that you can take. Be able to take the step from struggling with something to enacting the change needed to not only persevere but thrive is fully rewarding experience unique to therapy.




How do I edit or remove the "FAQ title"?


The FAQ title can be adjusted in the settings tab of the App Settings. You can also remove the title by unchecking its checkbox in the settings tab.
